Pir Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi, President Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) Sindh, stated that the downfall of corrupt rulers is imminent, and soon the people will hear the good news of their departure. He criticized the Zardari-led PPP for devouring Sindh like termites, declaring that both law and order and institutions in the province, especially Karachi, have been ruined. These remarks were made during his address to the Karachi Zone Coordination Committee and district officials after inaugurating the PML-F Sindh House. He further emphasized the importance of staying connected with the people and assured that the party’s goal was to provide services to the public at their doorstep.
Shah Rashdi expressed concerns over the commercialization of politics, urging party workers not to lose hope in a political environment where everything seemed to have a price. He also stated that the corrupt leadership must be replaced by those who would serve the public with sincerity. He pointed out that due to the current government’s policies, the youth of the country have become disillusioned.
He called upon young people to come forward and take the lead in fighting against the current leadership, using wisdom and strategy. Pir Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi also highlighted the critical role of women, noting that they make up more than 51% of the population and should play a more active role in securing a better future for their children. Secretary-General of PML-F Sindh, Sardar Abdul Rahim, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the party’s focus on federal politics. He criticized the PPP’s recent remarks towards Karachi’s traders, which he deemed inappropriate, and accused both PPP and MQM Pakistan of promoting divisive politics for their own interests.
