ISLAMABAD – The new phase of PM Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 has been launched as eligible students have been asked to apply for the free laptop before the deadline.
Under the scheme, the federal government aims at empowering 100,000 students across Pakistan with cutting-edge technology.
The initiative will help students to continue their studies in an efficient way besides boosting their professional growth.
PM Laptop Scheme Eligibility
Students studying in public sector Universities/ Degree Awarding Institutes duly recognized by HEC are eligible for the laptop scheme. Following students are eligible to apply for the free laptop:
Students enrolled in PhD/ MS/ MPhil or equivalent 18-year program (except weekend Programs)
Students enrolled in 1.5 and 2-year master’s degree program ((except weekend Programs).
Student enrolled in 4-year or 5-year bachelor’s degree program (morning and evening).
Students having secured 70% marks for semester system (2.80 CGPA), and 60% marks for annual system students.
CGPA/ GPA to Percentage conversion shall be governed by HEC defined formula.

PM Laptop Scheme Last Date
The government has fixed the last date to apply for the laptop scheme as May 20, 2025.
