Sources said on Monday that owing to the efforts of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s senior leadership, a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the like-minded group of Jahangir Tareen has been arranged.

According to sources, the party members will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday.

Jahangir Tareen has said that he will not be a part of the meeting between the Prime Minister and his like-minded members.

On Friday, members of Jahangir Tareen’s group had called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and apprised him of their reservations.

The group comprised Raja Riaz Ahmad, provincial ministers from Punjab Ajmal Cheema and Khayal Ahmad Kastro, and others.

The Punjab governor assured the visitors to address their reservations and to play his role in organizing their meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Chaudhry Sarwar further said that every party member completely trusts the leadership of Imran Khan and the incumbent regime is taking practical measures for progress and stability of Pakistan.
