Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday took notice and ordered relevant authorities to investigate the social media campaign against state institutions.

The decision was made during a meeting of the PTI leaders, sources said, where a report on the campaign was presented to the prime minister.

The people who had run the campaign against the institutions have also been identified, sources said, adding that the Federal Investigation Agency would probe the matter.

Meanwhile, a number of politicians have demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan and the judiciary take action against the anti-army remarks made by a PTI leader.
