Prime Minister Imran Khan has commended the revamp and modernisation of Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) in Peshawar.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Prime Minister said, “Khyber Teaching Hospital has been totally revamped and modernised after a lot of efforts.”
“It is easy to build a new state-of-the-art hospital; but very difficult to fix our existing government hospitals,” the Prime Minister maintained.
He also appreciated and congratulated the Khyber Teaching Hospital Board and management for their efforts.
Earlier this week, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government decided to upgrade thirty-two district headquarters hospitals in the province.
According to details, twenty-five hospitals in the settled districts while seven in the tribal districts will be revamped to international standards in next two years.—TLTP
