Federal Minister for Housing Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema on Friday disclosed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to bring a change in the Punjab government set-up.

Cheema revealed that the federal government’s committee had conveyed to them that the prime minister had agreed to change Punjab chief minister and also extended them congratulations.

On their inquiry, the committee informed that the prime minister had nodded to change in Punjab, Cheema added. On our further inquiry about the timing for the change, the committee told them that this would be brought about after the no-confidence motion was over, Cheema said.

Tariq Cheema said, “The government should not consider them a child. How can trust it that it will honour its commitment after no-trust motion.”
