It is famous around the world for its staggering range of luxury resorts and chic five-star hotels. The city is home to the world’s tallest hotel, as well as other record-breaking hospitality feats, such as the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, which is popularly known as the world’s only ‘seven-star hotel’.

Everyone likes to stay connected and Dubai offers various options in this regard. You will receive a free prepaid SIM card from telecom operator, Du, on arrival at the airport. You can also check out the competitive roaming and data packages from Etisalat, Du and Virgin Mobile. Safe public Wi-Fi is available across the UAE at many top destinations. Simply sign up through email and use it.

Things to do in Dubai

AURA Skypool

Perching on the 50th floor of Nakheel’s Palm Tower, Aura Skypool is the world’s highest infinity pool. The elegant pool-and-lounge destination evokes an ‘oasis in the sky’ feel thanks to its nature-inspired décor and welcoming vibes.

AURA’s opening hours are daily from 10am to sunset, with extended hours over the summer season. Prices start from AED150 per person for AURA’s indoor lounge, with pool experiences starting from AED200 per person.

The Spice Souk, Perfume Souk and The Gold Souk are located nearby Deira Creekside, making for fantastic opportunities to explore open market shops while on a stroll through the historic district.
