Plan is underway to use security cameras to monitor Metro corridor

Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad presided over a meeting to discuss plans for using security cameras and utilisation of modern technology to monitor Metro corridor. The meeting was attended by Inspector General of Islamabad Police and officers of other concerned formations.

The meeting discussed the plan for installation of security cameras and utilisation of technology for monitoring metro corridor.

During the meeting it was also decided that smart traffic management system at Islamabad highway will be handed over to ICT police while CDA will assist ict police in installation of more cameras.

It was further decided that Margalla highway smart traffic system will be implemented through Islamabad police.

Further more it was decided that

Islamabad would be transformed into a secure and safe capital with mutual cooperation of ICT administration Islamabad Police and CDA through usage of modern technology
