PKLI celebrates ISO certifications

Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center awarded Quality Management and Food Safety Management System certifications.

A ceremony was held to celebrate this significant milestone. Professionals from various well-known healthcare settings Hameed Latif Hospital, Indus Hospital, Evercare Hospital, Ammar Medical Complex, Test Zone Diagnostic Center, Fatima Memorial Hospital, The Children’s Hospital, and Shalamar Hospital graced the event with their presence.

The event aimed to promote awareness regarding the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives in the region and beyond and to explore collaborations in capacity building, knowledge sharing and creating an impact on safe healthcare delivery. It is pertinent to mention that PKLI is Pakistan’s first Food Safety Management System certified public hospital.

The representative of the certification body presented the certificates of both the standards to Hospital Director PKLI, Dr Faisal Amir.

The event was appreciated by the participants of the leading healthcare institutes and assured their support for similar activities in future.
