Brother-in-law of Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rahman, the prominent religious and spiritual leader of the world of Islam and uncle of Shaykh Muhammad Hassan Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Amjad Shafi Sahib was laid to rest at Darbar Aliya EidGah Sharif, Rawalpindi.
The funeral prayer was offered in the grounds of EidGah Sharif, in which Provincial Minister of Health and Population Dr. Jamal Nasir, ChaudhryQamar-ul-Zaman, former chairman of NAB, former member of the National Assembly HanifAbbasi, former federal minister SardarYar Muhammad Rind, Chairman of Pakistan Sweet Home, Zamurd Khan, former Tehsil Nazim Raja Hamid Nawaz, former Deputy District NazimAfzalKhokhar, Senator Abdul Malik, SajjadaNashinGhamkul Sharif PirHabibullah Shah, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon, Ambassadors and citizens of many Islamic countries including Iraq, Iran, Arab Emirates, a large number of people participated.
After the funeral prayer, Pir Naqeeb ur Rehman said it was necessary that we should prepare for death before it comes. He said that the life of the Holy Prophet (SAW) is a beacon for us. By following this we can achieve success in this world and hereafter.
He further said that the deceased was very modest and committed to fasting and salat. May Allah forgive him completely and give patience to the bereaved.
Pir Muhammad Hasan Hasib ur Rahman Sajjada Nashin EidGah Sharif thanked all the honored guests, ministers and ambassadors and citizens who participated in the funeral prayer and prayed for them.
