The district administration in cooperation with All Rawalpindi Restaurants Association has started administering Covid-19 vaccines in Saddar, Rawapindi.
Rawalpindi’s restaurants and food outlets have joined the government’s vaccination drive since National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has made it mandatory for people to show their vaccination certificates to staff at restaurants before indoor dining.
Deputy Commissioner Aamir Aqiq Khan in a tweet said, “AC Cantt @nousheenisrar inaugurated Mobile Vaccination camp at Sadia Hotel Saddar in collaboration with Restaurant Association and @PSHDept Mobile Vaccination camp established to ensure all restaurant owners, their staff & customers are vaccinated as per @OfficialNcoc Guidelines.”
According to the president of All Rawalpindi Restaurants Association Mohammad Farooq Chaudhry, the general public, customers and staff of hotels and restaurants will be vaccinated in the ongoing drive.
He said the association had requested the district administration to administer single dose Cansino vaccine in mobile vaccination camps.
According to him, the association will also arrange vaccination certificates for those being vaccinated in these camps from National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).
