The Punjab Higher Education Department (PHED) unveiled a book containing departmental documents.
Provincial Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun was the chief guest at the event.
According to details, Punjab Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz visited Government MAO College Lahore and launched the book containing departmental documents of the Punjab Department of Higher Education.
The function was attended by DPI Colleges Dr Ashiq Hussain, AS Higher Education Talha Hussain, Deputy Secretary Ali Raza Principal MAO College Prof Shabir Ahmed Rana and principals of all colleges of Lahore Division and others.
Addressing the function, Raja Yasir Humayun said that provision of quality higher education is the top priority of the government.
That is why today the government is not only setting up new educational institutions but also improving their performance by appointing the heads of these institutions on merit.
That is why the international ranking of educational institutions in Punjab has improved significantly.
The Provincial Minister further said that this book of the Department of Higher Education has been compiled as a special book for the guidance of the principals, which will help them to understand legal and administrative matters.
Dr. Ashiq Hussain, DPI Colleges, was awarded a certificate of appreciation for compiling an excellent book. He also distributed shields and books to the Director Colleges and Principals.
