Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association (PFVA) have collectively called for a two-week extension to the ban on onion exports, seeking consensus among onion exporters. They have formally communicated their request to the federal Ministry of Commerce, proposing an extension until April 30.
Additionally, they suggest reinstating onion exports from May 1 with conditions including a 100% advance payment requirement and maintaining a minimum export price of $1200.
