ISLAMABAD – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised petroleum prices, lowering the price of petrol by Rs.1 per litre while increasing the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs.3.37 per litre.
According to a notification issued under the revised petroleum pricing mechanism, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products following the federal government’s approval.
New Petrol Price
| Product | Old Price | New Price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| High-Speed Diesel (HSD) | 383.46 | 386.83 | +3.37 |
| Petrol | 335.18 | 334.18 | -1.00 |

The revised prices came into force immediately from July 28, 2026. The increase in diesel prices is expected to add to operating costs for the transport and agricultural sectors, both of which rely heavily on High-Speed Diesel. Higher diesel prices could also have a broader impact on freight charges and the cost of goods.
Meanwhile, motorists using petrol will receive modest relief following the Re.1 per litre reduction.
Ministry of Finance stated that the latest price adjustment was made in line with the revised petroleum pricing mechanism, taking into account trends in international crude oil prices and other relevant financial factors.
