PESHAWAR – Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar announced the HSSC Annual-I Examination 2026 results for Part-I and Part-II on September 21.
The results show striking difference between the performance figures of first-year and second-year students, with Part-I recording a combined success and promotion rate of 99.1 percent, while the Part-II pass rate stood at 52.6 percent.
Part-I Result
A total of 63,605 students appeared in the Intermediate Part-I examination.
According to the board’s results:
- 31,169 students were declared successful.
- 31,854 students were promoted.
- The combined pass and promotion rate reached 99.1 percent.
The figures mean that only a small proportion of candidates were left outside the successful or promoted categories.
Part-II Result
The Part-II results presented a markedly different picture.
As many as 66,735 students appeared in the second-year examination. Of these:
- 35,103 students passed.
- 30,878 students were declared unsuccessful.
- The overall pass rate was recorded at 52.6 percent.
The figures highlight a substantial difference between the Part-I promotion results and the Part-II examination outcome.

The board has advised candidates to carefully review their results and detailed marks information after accessing the online record.
Regular students can obtain their Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) from their respective educational institutions.
