A performance agreement has been signed between Prime Minister Office and Ministry of Science and Technology to ensure ownership and improved delivery.
A ceremony was held in Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) to mark the inclusion of 28 new targets in the Performance Agreement, said a press release.
The event was witnessed by Special Assistance to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Establishment Shahzad Arbab and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Senator Shibli Faraz.
The agreement was signed by Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology, Madam Humaira Ahmed while heads of various organizations of MoST were also present on the occasion.
This was the first time a tier-two performance agreement was signed between heads of attached departments and the Secretary of a Ministry.
Eight heads of organizations were present, including Rector NUST, Chairman PCSIR, Chairman PSF, DG NIO, DG NIE, DG PSQCA and DG PCRET.
