KARACHI – Local and international markets witnessed an upward trend as bullion prices moved up by Rs1400 to Rs349,300.
Dats shared by Saraffa Association show the price of gold jumping by Rs1,400 to Rs349,300 while the rate for 10 grams of yellow metal rose by Rs1,200 to reach Rs299,468.

Globally, gold prices strengthened, with international rate rising $14 to $3,309 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs32, settling at Rs3,480.
Market analysts suggest that the rise in precious metals reflects ongoing fluctuations in international commodity markets, which continue to influence local prices.
