KARACHI – Gold on August 12 climbed again, with price of one tola reaching Rs463,936 after a Rs4,200 increase in the latest session.
The latest jump takes gold’s monthly gain to around Rs37,000, bringing the precious metal within striking distance of the Rs4.64 Lac mark. Gold rose from Rs459,736 to Rs463,936 per tola, while international bullion prices climbed $42 to $4,415 per ounce.

The price of 10 grams of gold also reached Rs397,750, while silver stood at Rs7,111 per tola.
Gold has delivered stunning rally in Pakistan, with 24-karat gold soaring by Rs37,200 per tola since August 1, pushing the price to a record-like Rs463,936 per tola on August 12.
24K Bullion started the month at Rs426,736 per tola and has now gained around 8.7%. The latest surge came with a Rs4,200 jump in a single day. The price of 10 grams of 24K gold also climbed to nearly Rs397,750.
