In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hundreds of people staged a protest demonstration in Ramban district against the BJP regime’s decision to evict people from their land.
The protesters marched to the Deputy Commissioner office and handed over to him a memorandum demanding revocation of the eviction order.
The protesters said the decision of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime to evict people from their lands is hurting thousands of families and will render them homeless in the harsh winter. “Our protest will continue as long as the order is not revoked,” they added.
Pertinently, the Hindutva BJP-RSS fascist Indian government and its administration in IIOJK have intensified the ongoing eviction campaign in all districts of the territory to grab the land of Kashmiri Muslims, which has been in their possession for generations.
The Indian occupation authorities along with Indian Army and agencies are snatching the Kashmiris’ land in the name of a so-called anti-encroachment drive. Lakhs of kanals of land of locals in all districts of Kashmir valley and Muslim areas of the Jammu region have been snatched by the BJP regime from the Kashmiris, so far.—KMS
