ISLAMABAD – Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday claimed that the people were paid to take part in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest Islamabad protest.

“These people are now throwing at the law enforcement,” said federal minister while talking to the media in Islamabad. He was present there on the spot.

Tarar said that Bushra Bibi wanted bloodshed.

“These people [PTI] wanted the same objectives of May 9,” said Attaullah Tarar.

The minister criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for pursuing the politics of chaos and anarchy. He stated that Afghan citizens were also the part of the convoy being led by Bushra Bibi.

Talking to the media in Rawalpindi, he said the people of Pakistan wanted the politics of progress and welfare, which is manifested by the people-friendly initiatives of the government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He said the economy is taking off with the Pakistan Stock Exchange crossing the historical milestone of 100,000 points.

The Minister said inflation plummeting to 6.9 per cent from 32 per cent, while foreign exchange reserves are swelling with a significant increase in exports.

He said two major commodities including electricity and petrol are cheaper than previous years.
