Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, has made it clear to the Modi regime in India that it cannot change the ground realities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by implementing its Hindutva agenda and sooner or later New Delhi will have to accede to the UN-sponsored settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

Nayeem Ahmed Khan who is under illegal detention in India’s Tihar Jail in a massage deplored that not only all the civil and legal rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir have been taken away but also their basic human and religious rights have been usurped.

He said whenever Pakistan and India initiated dialogue, Kashmiris appreciated them. He added that imposing restrictions and putting people in jails would not solve any problem as people’s aspirations could not be suppressed through use of force.

He maintained that Hurriyat leadership has a principled stand on the Kashmir dispute which is supported by the entire world.—KMS
