THE other day, I watched a video showing how brutally the Jewish rabbis and Roman officials crucified Jesus Christ. It Is a piece of some movie on Jesus. I am deeply grieved to see this scene and the religious extremism of the Roman Jewish rabbis, who were smiling when Jesus was being bathed in blood. On the Cross, he was sullenly fluttering like a bruised falcon. Highly tragic scene. The rabbis sarcastically said:” Here is the man who claimed to be the King of the Jews”.
Judaism is a racial religion. The Ten Commandments given by Prophet Moses are the basic moral and social values and divine doctrines. The Christians and the Muslims believe in the Ten Commandments. Then why not to unite on the Ten Commandments? They are divine commandments. Jesus Christ said that he had come to reform the evils which had crept in Jewish society by the rabbis and financially corrupt rulers. Both, the clerics and rulers conspired and bestially crucified him. According to the belief of Christians, after three days of his burial, Jesus was seen by his disciples raised to life and he ascended to heaven.
Today, the Israeli Zionists are doing the same with the innocent civilians of Gaza/Palestine which was done with Jesus Christ by the religious hardliners. I wonder how the Christian governments are supporting Israel and providing Israel money and ammunition? The Christians are very humanistic and believe in the message of love and mercy as prescribed and preached by Jesus Christ. They should have followed the footsteps of Jesus and stopped Israel to commit excesses. I wish the Palestine-Israel conflict is amicably resolved according to the UN resolutions and Two-State Formula is implemented to avoid the Third World War and make the Middle East an abode of peace.
Today, on Wall Street, New York, a Jewish rabbi, who is a man of conscience, on road is wavering the flag of Palestine and saying that Zionism is not Judaism and he is protesting against the genocide of the civilians of Gaza. In America, many Jews have joined the protesting rallies and are condemning the genocide and demanding to end the war. All American and Western TV channels are showing the protests and the arrests of the protesters, students and professors. Better America should pressurize Israel to end war and stop genocide and agree on Two-State solution. Why America should be disturbed and disrupted and bear the brunt of the adamancy and obduracy of politicking of Benjamin Netanyahu? He is emotionally black mailing the Israelis to win the upcoming elections.
I feel it pertinent to mention the report of Human Rights Watch says that the Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe demands an urgent response from the international community. It aptly writes: ”Our research with those in power urges them to pressure Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza”. It goes without saying that the portrayal of Zionism and the subsequent Israeli policies, particularly post 1948, reflect a system where the Palestinians are often seen through a lens that diminishes their humanity, dignity and safety, thus escalating and exacerbating the conflict.
Reports like Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have highlighted policies that amount to apartheid, a system of segregation and economic stifling, aimed at ensuring democratic and political dominance of Jewish Israelis over armless Palestinians. Amnesty International had published a report captioned:” Israel’s Apartheid against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crimes against Humanity.” In the light of these hard facts and bitter realities, what should be the role of the champions and custodians of democracy and human rights? Will they like to answer?
