Bahawalpur
The Federal Government has approved PC-1 of National Cotton Breeding Research Institute (NCBRI) at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhr Imam, Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister of the Punjab Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar on this important development of agricultural economy especially cotton.
The Vice Chancellor also paid special thanks to Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfaraz, Provincial Minister for Education, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for National Food Security and Planning Commission of Pakistan.
He congratulated to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment.
