NARC under the umbrella of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council organized two weeks long “Hands-on Training in Pesticide Residue Analysis” from August 17-28 at NARC to impart training on theoretical and practical aspects of pesticides residues analysis.
Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan, Chairman, PARC highlights the significance of Pesticide Residue Analysis by saying that it is an extensively used method in agriculture to control pests and improve yield of crops.
This project and trainings are substantial towards safe and sustainable agriculture. He further added that PARC is unfolding the environment friendly agricultural practices in Pakistan. Engr. Shamim ul Sibtain, DG NARC, Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Member PARC along with other high officials and scientists were present while after the training, certificates were also distributed among the trainees.
