PAL to hold Ahmed Faraz national literary seminar today

The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) in collaboration with Ahmed Faraz Trust is organizing the Ahmed Faraz National Literary Seminar on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of the great Urdu poet.
The seminar will be held today (Tuesday) in the conference hall of the PAL.
Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, National Heritage & Culture and Senator Shibli Faraz, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik, Iftikhar Arif and Mohammad Izharul Haq will be in the Presidium. Saadi Faraz will be the Guest of Honor. Dr Yusuf Kushk, Chairman, PAL, will start with introductory remarks.
Among the speakers, Hafeez Khan, Muhammad Hameed Shahid, Khawaj Najam-ul-Hassan, Akhtar Usman, Ayesha Masood, Dr. Abid Siyyal, Dr. Ravish Nadeem and Dr. Humaira Ishfaqwill express their views. Hassan Abbas Raza will pay homage.Adnan Raza, Bano Rehmat and Zahid Ali Khan will pay tributes to the legend by singing his poetry. Mehboob Zafar will be the moderator.
