ISLAMABAD – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi ruler, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has been admitted to a hospital for medical examinations.
Amid wave of concerns, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep anxiety over the development, as he took to social media to share sentiments. Sharif said the news of King Salman’s hospitalization caused serious concern, stressing that the people of Pakistan hold the Saudi monarch in the highest esteem and respect.
The premier reaffirmed Islamabad’s strong emotional and spiritual bond with Saudi Arabia, saying that Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with its Saudi brothers and sisters during this time. He offered heartfelt prayers, asking Allah Almighty to grant King Salman a swift and complete recovery, renewed strength, abundant energy, and the ability to continue leading the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari also issued a strong message of solidarity and goodwill. He expressed sincere best wishes for King Salman and prayed for his early and full recovery, stating that the entire Pakistani nation is praying for the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
President Zardari confirmed that King Salman has been admitted to a hospital in Riyadh for medical examinations and reiterated that the Saudi monarch enjoys immense respect in the hearts of the Pakistani people. He prayed that Allah Almighty bless King Salman with good health, a long life, and continued strength to lead Saudi Arabia.
