Pakistan’s foreign reserves drop by $63 million

KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reached $13,038.5 million as of February 23, 2024.

As per the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, foreign reserves held by the central bank stood at $7,949.6 million. Net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks stood at $ 5,088.9 million as of February 23, 2024.

During the week ended on February 23, 2024, SBP’s reserves decreased by $63 million to $7,949.6 million due to debt repayments.
