Get ready for an extended festive break. At the end of December, Pakistanis are in for treat as four holidays fall back-to-back, promising relaxation, family time, and travel plans galore.
December 25 marks the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam, the founder of Pakistan, which will be celebrated along with Christmas. The entire nation will celebrate as government and private offices shut down for the public holiday.
Adding to the excitement, December 26, Friday, has been declared a special holiday for Christian community, allowing them to observe their religious and traditional festivities.
With Saturday and Sunday rounding off the week, citizens can enjoy a four-day holidays, a perfect opportunity to unwind and make the most of the year-end.
The federal government already announced 2025 holiday calendar earlier this year, detailing all national and religiously significant days, so this extended festive weekend was well anticipated.
