Kanch Ki Gurya star was receiving treatment in Karachi medical facility when his condition deteriorated. The deceased recently returned to Karachi from the US, and was staying with his siblings while his family remained abroad.
Condolences started pouring for the late PTV icon, whose contributions to the industry will be remembered for years to come.
Mazhar was known for his roles in hit drama serials such as Shaheen, Kali Deemak, and Kanch Ki Gurya, earning him a special place in the hearts of fans.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar mourned the death of famous TV star Mazhar Ali. In his condolence message, he expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased. Tarar said Pakistan lost a great artist and a respected human being.
