Pakistani Teacher Private Video Leak Update As Suspected Student Arrested

Police have arrested a student for allegedly blackmailing a female schoolteacher using her indecent private video.

A video shared on a Facebook page covering crime-related incidents shows a boy in school uniform riding a motorcycle before he is stopped by a group of people, including the woman believed to be the victim.

The page claimed in its caption that the student had allegedly been involved in blackmailing the teacher with an indecent video.

In the footage, the woman can be seen confronting the suspect and hitting him with her shoes on the roadside. Two police officers are later seen taking the boy into custody.

The exact location and date of the incident could not be independently verified. It is also unformed whether the private video of the teacher was leaked by the student.

The alleged blackmailing incident has drawn strong criticism, with social media users calling for legal action against the suspect.

In April 2026, a judicial magistrate in Karachi sent a man to prison on judicial remand in a case involving allegations that he secretly recorded a private video of his former fiancée and later used it to blackmail her after their engagement was called off.

The suspect was presented before the Judicial Magistrate (West) by an investigating officer of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) after his physical remand ended. The investigator had sought an extension of his custody until April 28 to continue the probe.

The court, however, declined the request and placed the suspect in judicial custody. The magistrate also directed the investigating officer to file an interim charge sheet within the prescribed period.

According to the first information report, the woman had been engaged to the suspect and maintained contact with him through WhatsApp. The complaint alleges that he secretly made recordings of her private moments without her consent.

The NCCIA stated that the engagement was later ended after the woman and her family discovered that the suspect was already married and had two children.

Investigators alleged that the suspect then reacted to the decision by threatening and blackmailing the woman using the private video.

The suspect was subsequently arrested during a raid, while authorities also recovered a mobile phone from his possession that they believe may contain material relevant to the investigation.
