Pakistani rupee continued moving up, and appreciated throughout the outgoing week, seeing an improvement against the US dollar in the interbank market.
Data shared by State Bank revealed that the rupee settled at Rs283.26, after an increase of Rs0.25.
It was the US dollar’s fourth successive session as the currency moved up by 0.09pc in the inter-bank market.
A day before, the rupee recorded a third gain to settle at 283.51 against the USD.

In open market, the local currency remained stable against US dollar. During the day, currency dealers quoted at 284.50 for selling and 281.50 for buying.
