Malala Yousafzai, Pakistani girls’ education and women’s rights activist, is now trying her luck in Hollywood as she made cameo appearance in the British comedy TV sitcom We Are Lady Parts Season 2.
The youngest Nobel Prize laureate in history makes a guest appearance in episode 2 when a song inspired by her life is played. The scene shows a 26-year-old sitting on a horse, looking stunning in cowgirl attire.
We Are Lady Parts episode 2 titled “Malala Made Me Do It,” features Yousafzai in a fusion of Western and Pakistani attire, riding a horse. The song in the episode was performed by main cast members Anjana Vasan, Lucie Shorthouse, Sarah Kameela Impey, Faith Omole, and Juliette Motamed.

Malala enters Hollywood, years after partnering with Apple on a multiyear programming deal. She opted the series to highlight stories of Muslim girls, fostering viewer connection and relatability.
The education activist further emphasized significance of humanizing people, particularly in times of conflict and oppression. She also expressed her hope for more stories from regions like Gaza and Afghanistan and urged the use of all available means, both public and private, to advocate for the people in Gaza.
