Pakistani elected President of APDF


Pakistan has achieved honour and laurels, as renowned Dental Surgeon of Pakistan Dr Mahmood Shah has been elected President of the 28 countries prestigious Asia-Pacific Dental Federation (APDF).

This honor has been bestowed on Pakistan after 16 years, when another prominent Dentist from Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi (current President of Pakistan) was elected as President of Asia-Pacific Dental Federation in 2006. Dr Mahmood Shah is the second Dentist from Pakistan to achieve this distinction. Dr Mahmood Shah is also the President of Pakistan Dental Association and Member of Public Health Committee of World Dental Federation.
