Pakistan on Monday recorded less than 50 daily Covid-19 deaths for the first time in over a month.
According to the latest statistics of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 40 more patients fell prey to Covid-19 during the last 24 hours in the country.
The country last reported 46 deaths on August 4. 51,348 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, out of which 2,167 returned positive.
The COVID-19 positivity rate fell to 4.22%. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in the country so far has reached 27,246 and the total number of cases has reached 1,226,008, while 1,135,038 people have recovered from the virus so far.
