KARACHI – A major maritime exercise, SEASPARK-26, by the Pakistan Navy has commenced in Karachi.
Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced opening brief of the exercise as chief guest, flanked by senior officers from Pakistan Air Force.
The exercise is designed to test Pakistan Navy preparedness and response to full spectrum of maritime threats.
Earlier, Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited Pakistan Navy fleet units to review ongoing operational activities.
Addressing to officers and men, the naval chief stressed that in an increasingly volatile and complex regional security environment. He said Pakistan Navy cannot afford anything less than uncompromising operational readiness.
The exercise will rehearse Multi Domain Operations (MDO) fusing maritime, air, land, cyber &space-enabled capabilities into a single, coordinated fighting force capable of overwhelming any adversary across every warfighting domain alongside Operations in Information Environment (OIE).
