SHANGHAI – Pakistan Navy has commissioned one of the most advanced Type 054-A/P multi-role frigates built at China’s Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard.
The PNS Tugril was handed over to Pakistan Navy service at a ceremony held at shipyard in Shanghai. A Pakistani flag was also hoisted on the frigate during the ceremony.

PNS TUGHRIL is a technologically advance ship equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and weapons.
It is capable of “enormous firepower & surveillance potentials”.
“Construction of PN Ship at China is testimony of Pak-China all weather friendship,” said Pakistan Navy in a statement.
Ambassador Moin termed the commissioning of the warship a “historic day exemplifying China-Pakistan Friendship”.
