ISLAMABAD – The federal budget for fiscal year 2025–26 has been delayed for more than a week and the new date for budget 2025-26 is June 10, Finance Minister’s aide confirmed.
In a recent announcement, Aurangzeb’s aide confirmed that Pakistan Economic Survey for 2024–25 will be released day prior, on June 9. The Economic Survey provides a comprehensive overview of the country’s economic performance over the outgoing fiscal year and sets the stage for the upcoming budget.
The budget presentation was originally expected on June 2 but was rescheduled. No official reason has been given for the delay.
