A commemorate event to observe Youme Istehsale Kashmir was orgainsed by Pakistan Embassy Stockholm. Diaspora members including Kashmir origin community members attended the event.
Speaking at the event distinguished guests spoke about Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmir cause against Indian unilateralism, brutality and systematic op-pression of the people of IIOJ& K. Abrogation of the special status of Jammu & Kashmir on 5 August 2019 by the Indian government was termed an act of betrayal for the people of Kashmir.
Reitrating Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmir cause, Ambassador Bilal Hayee urged the commu-nity members to remain united and stead fast for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute through a democratically held plebiscite in accordance with the aspirations and free- will of the people of Kashmir.
