DUBAI – The embassies of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will remained closed on September 15, 2024 (Sunday).

The embassies made the announcement on their official websites, stating that there will be holiday on Sept 15 on account of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH), the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet.

“The Embassy will reopen on Monday 16th September, 2024,” read the press release.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has also declared that Sunday, September 15, 2024, (12 Rabi Al-Awwal 1446), will be a holiday for all government bodies, departments, and institutions on Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

The Department further announced that official work will resume from Monday, September 16.

On the other hand, Pakistan embassy in New York and other cities of the US will observe a holiday on September 16 on account of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

In Pakistan, the Eid Miladun Nabi will be observed on September 17, Tuesday, while the government has also announced a public holiday on that day.
