Nakhon Phanom – Pakistan maintained their unbeaten run at the Asian Under-18 Volleyball Championship with a convincing straight-sets victory over Thailand on Tuesday, finishing top of Group C and advancing to the quarter-finals.
Pakistan defeated hosts Thailand 3-0 in their final Group C fixture, sealing the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-23.
The victory marked Pakistan’s third consecutive win in the tournament, ensuring they finished at the top of their group with a perfect record.
Having already secured a place in the quarter-finals, Pakistan once again delivered a dominant performance to conclude the group stage on a high note.
The national side opened its campaign with a win over Kyrgyzstan before overcoming Kazakhstan in its second group match.
The triumph against Thailand completed an unbeaten group-stage run and confirmed Pakistan’s status as Group C winners heading into the knockout rounds.
