Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani to review the changing regional situation after the signing of the Islamabad MoU.
According to a post shared by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X, Al Zayani congratulated Ishaq Dar on the successful signing of the Islamabad MoU and appreciated Pakistan for playing a positive and constructive role in facilitating the diplomatic understanding.

The Bahraini foreign minister expressed optimism that the agreement would contribute to long-term peace and stability across the region.
During the conversation, Al Zayani also informed Dar of his intention to visit Pakistan soon in order to personally convey appreciation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir for their efforts in helping secure the ceasefire and supporting regional peace efforts.
