ISLAMABAD — Another jaw-dropping display of aerial grandeur by Pakistan Air Force, as skies over Islamabad exploded in thunderous symbolism today as six sleek JF-17 Thunder jets of the Pakistan Air Force roared into formation, greeting aircraft of Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, with a full ceremonial salute the moment it entered Pakistani airspace.
The dramatic flyover left onlookers gazing skywards in awe, marking what could go down as one of the most spectacular diplomatic receptions in recent memory.

President Subianto touched down today in Islamabad for his maiden official visit to Pakistan. Within seconds of his plane crossing into Pakistani airspace, the PAF squadron leader ordered his six-jet formation into action. The jets closed in, formed a protective cage around the presidential aircraft, and established radio contact their voices crackling over the airwaves: “Welcome to Pakistan, Your Excellency!”
