ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has successfully launched its second indigenous Earth Observation (EO) satellite, EO-2, marking a significant milestone for the country’s space program.
The launch took place from China’s Yangjiang Seashore Centre, facilitated by the Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
EO-2 is designed to enhance Pakistan’s Earth observation and imaging capabilities, contributing to advancements in environmental monitoring, agricultural management, disaster management, and urban planning.
