Pakistan has registered 310 infections and five deaths by coronavirus pandemic during the last 24 hours, showed figures released by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday morning.
As per the latest NCOC data, with the addition of five more deaths the toll inched up to 30,344, whereas the number of total infections now stood at 1,523,900 after adding the fresh 310 cases.
During the last 24 hours, 31,962 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio stood at 0.96 percent. The number of patients in critical care was 428. During the last 24 hours, as many as 231 patients have recovered from the virus whereas the total recoveries stood at 1,485,316.
As of Sunday, the total count of active cases in the country was recorded at 8,239. As many as 574,730 coronavirus cases have so far been confirmed in Sindh, 504,841 in Punjab, 218,898 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 135,023 in Islamabad, 35,469 in Balochistan, 43,244 in Azad Kashmir and 11,695 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
