ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Navy successfully test-fired domestically developed ship-launched Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile, marking a major advancement in the country’s naval capabilities.
The missile, equipped with cutting-edge guidance systems and advanced maneuverability features, can accurately strike both sea and land targets, showcasing Pakistan’s growing precision-strike capabilities.
The historic test launch was witnessed by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), Chief of the Naval Staff, alongside senior scientists and engineers who played a pivotal role in developing the weapon system.
“This successful flight test is a testament to Pakistan’s technological expertise and the Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests,” the military’s media wing said.
The achievement drew immediate recognition from the highest echelons of the country’s leadership. The President, Prime Minister, Field Marshal, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and other service chiefs congratulated the scientists and units involved, hailing it as a milestone in Pakistan’s defense capabilities.
