On April 23, Prime Minister Imran Khan, looking at the worsening situation in Pakistan, promised to seek Army’s help.

In fact as of the time, this report is being written, army has already come to Lahore and a couple of more Punjab towns.

The Therik-e-Taliban Pakistan had made life miserable for the government of the day. Imran, naturally were under pressure, because the entire country was virtually banned by the TLP.

Despite appeal on loudspeakers and a personal letter addressed by TLP leader Hafiz Saeed, and appeal to end the sit-in at the Masjid-e-Nabwi in Islamabad, his followers, refused to heed to their leaders appeal, and ignoring the contents of the letter, keep the agitation at the Masjide Nabwi mosque in the Capital city of Islamabad.

Pakistan at Global Leaders Climate Summit*, for projection Pakistan’s soft image, Pakistan had been formally invited by US to join the summit.

A minister of Federal Cabinet represented Pakistan and its Prime Minister, which meant that Imran Khan was over burdened with several kind of Problems.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) though had died virtually, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman of JUI-F is adamant on keeping it alive, and trying to seek its release from the Oxygen tent which is now in that.

He spoke on Saturday to Shahbaz Sharif, who has now been released on, and will probably take over opposition leader in the Assembly.

His son Hamza Shahbaz, also on bail, is carrying out his anti-Imran campaign. The world has all praises for Pakistan and PM Imran Khan’s active rallying for the subject.

United Nation’s Secretary General lauded Pakistan’s efforts on addressing the climate change issue.

World Economic Forum has released 7 videos on Pakistan’s efforts, addressing climate change as an example in environmental conversation.

United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia are following the footsteps of Pakistan by launching similar initiatives.

They launched 10 billion tree plantation drive known as Billion Tree Tsunami Project.

Pakistan’s role as a responsible member of world community in combating climate change is being highlighted here in our newspaper Pakistan Observer.

A comprehensive policy is chalked out by Pakistan that includes important provisions on sectors like energy, forestry, agriculture and livestock.

Furthermore, measures related to disaster preparedness, capacity building, institutional strengthening, technology transfer, and introducing climate change in higher education have also been incorporated into the policy.

Under this entire grave situation, which worsens whenever a bill is introduced in the National Assembly? A resolution was presented in the lower house of the Parliament by a member on private day of the National Assembly, to satisfy the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).

But then Shahid Khaqan Abbasi raised objection that the prime minister should have moved the resolution himself.

To top it all, another Noon League so-called leader Ahsan Iqbal demanded that the prime minister should have been present in the House when the resolution about French Ambassador in Pakistan was moved.

This is nothing but deliberate attempts to create confusion for the people, many of whom keenly watch the proceedings of the National Assembly brought alive on PTV.

Imran’s problems are not yet favour. The FATF is meeting in June this year to consider whether Pakistan has cleared the remaining 4 of the 27 issues, which have already been resolved this year in February and appreciated by the FATF officials.

What else can one do now except to pray to God Almighty to give wisdom to his opponents? They blame the government for every parliament, but they themselves create confusion in the Parliamen. May benign guidance can give them wisdom to correct themselves.
