Visits Chinese embassy to condole Chinese nationals’ death
Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Mr Faisal Zahid Malik visited the Embassy of China and expressed condolences with Counsellor Mr Wang Shengjie and Press Attaché Mr Liu Chang on the sad demise of two Chinese nationals in a terrorist attack in Karachi.
He condemned the heinous attack in the strongest words and prayed for the early recovery of the injured. Pakistan and China enjoy deep, cordial relations and this historic bond of friendship cannot be affected by such cowardly attacks, said Mr Faisal Zahid Malik.
In the Condolence Book also, Mr Faisal Malik penned down his deep feelings of grief noting “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the terrorist attack in Karachi, which claimed precious lives, including Chinese nationals. Our heartfelt condolences go out for the families, loved ones, and the Chinese community. We condemn terrorism in all its forms and reaffirm our commitment to strengthening Pakistan-China friendship. We stand in solidarity with the Chinese community and assure our unwavering support.”
Counsellor of the Embassy of China, Mr Wang Shengjie expressed gratitude to Mr Faisal Zahid Malik for his prompt visit to the embassy and to express solidarity in this moment of grief.
He also thanked him for condemning the terrorist attack and said Pakistan Observer has always been supporting Pak-China friendship besides highlighting the Chinese embassy’s activities prominently.
Pakistan Observer is the first among the media persons to visit the Embassy of China and condole the loss of the precious lives and we are thankful to you for this, Mr Wang Shengjie said.
