In an effort to strengthen civil-military relationship, Khaisoray Sector of Pakistan Army hosted Iftar parties for the tribesmen of the tribal district South Waziristan at Khisoray and Korr Forts. Both Iftar parties were attended by a good number of military officials and tribal elders.
Pakistan Army has been engaged in promoting humanitarian activities and observance of religious values besides restoring a long lasting peace in the region.
In an expression of their views, the tribal elders said the durable peace in the tribal districts was beholden to the matchless sacrifices of Armed Forces and tribesmen.
They said that organizing such events would help people and their forces to come closer and enhance mutual coordination for national cause.
Addressing the participants of the Iftar party at Khaisoray Fort, Sector Commander Khaisoray iterated their resolve not to hesitate from any sacrifice for the promotion of peace and prosperity of the area.
He assured the tribesmen that the armed forces of Pakistan would never leave them alone in any circumstances.
At the end a collective prayer was offered for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Ramzan ration packages distributed: Frontier Corps Sector Headquarter South (FC SHS) Saturday distributed Ramzan ration packages among the one hundred needy families of the district Tank.
In continuation of humanitarian activities by the FC SHS, one hundred deserving families of Tank city and other rural areas received at their door steps the “Ramzan Ration Packages” each of which comprising Oil, Sugar, Wheat and other edible items.
