Pak Army, FC engaged in flood relief work in Tank

Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps South troops are actively engaged in relief work with the support of the district administration in flood-hit areas of district Tank.

Under the supervision of Pakistan Army officers, relief goods including tents and rations were distributed at flood-hit areas and delivered in helicopters, as roads were destroyed in some worse flood affected areas.

According to details, the soldiers of Pakistan Army and FC have also provided rations and tents on their shoulders at doorstep, besides they also provided relief items to the affectees in various schools at Gara Shada, Sheikh Uttar and Gomal where the flood victims have taken shelter, the soldiers and officers of Pak Army are also providing cooked food with the support of the district administration.

Free health camps also set up at various flood hit areas providing free treatment to the affectees, where along with medical check-up, free medicines were also provided to the flood victims and general public, the youth, aid volunteer organizations, local elected local representatives are also in the field to support the massive relief operations.
