The head of the security department of Paghman, Abdul Malik Faqir, said a family dispute was behind the incident.

The family whose seven members were killed last Wednesday in Paghman district of Kabul province are demanding justice.

The family said that the killers should pay with their lives. At least nine members of the family were in a car when they came under fire by unknown armed men. At least seven people were killed, and two others were wounded.

“It was daytime. My son fell into an ambush and carnage occurred. It happened during the day,” said Allah Yar, who lost his son, Mohammad Salim.

Mohammad Salim was a member of the Islamic Emirate and deputy logistics manager at the 313 military compound.

“He was a good man. No one was harmed by him,” said Mohammad Hatim, the brother of Mohammad Salim.

The head of the security department of Paghman, Abdul Malik Faqir, said a family dispute was behind the incident. “The names of the people who some say are involved in (the incident) were shared with us. We brought them and they are under investigation,” he said.—Tolo News
